Questions
What's the difference between a résumé and a CV?
In the US and Canada a one-to-two page 'résumé' is standard. In the UK, Europe, Australia, and academia the hiring document is called a 'CV' and follows different conventions — length, sections, spelling, and which personal details are expected. This tool reformats one into the other for the market you're applying to.
Does it invent or exaggerate anything?
No. It only reformats the facts already in your document — reordering sections, adjusting spelling and dates, and relabelling to the target market. It never adds an employer, a metric, a qualification, a photo, a date of birth, or a nationality. Where a market culturally expects details like those, it flags them for you to add yourself rather than making them up.
Which markets can I convert for?
Currently: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, Australia / New Zealand, Academic CV, Middle East / Gulf.
How much does it cost?
A conversion is a one-time $9 purchase — no subscription required. Buy as many as you need.
