Built by a real digital nomad
I left the United States in 2018 to build a life of freedom — and I haven't looked back.
Since then, I've lived in Germany and Portugal, and now Albania, navigating the real-world challenges of the digital nomad lifestyle. I've worked as an ecommerce operator, digital marketer, content creator, and vlogger. I've dealt with visas, residence permits, taxes, and the ups and downs of building a remote career while traveling the world.
But before all that, I spent:
- 12 years in management at a large U.S. brokerage firm, where I was responsible for hiring and learned the STAR method for interviewing candidates
- 17 years as a small business owner with 20+ employees, also handling all hiring and talent decisions
I know what employers are looking for. And I know what it takes to stand out in a competitive job market.
Why I built Nomad Job Pass
I've seen job applications from both sides — as a hiring manager and as a job seeker.
As a hiring manager, I reviewed countless applications. Most were generic. Most didn't answer the question: “Why should I hire this person?”
As a digital nomad, I've applied for remote jobs while in different time zones, different countries, and different stages of life. I wished there was a tool that could take my real experience and tailor it to each specific job, without me spending hours rewriting the same bullet points.
